Locker Magnets Tonight @ 6:30 PM

Make your own locker magnets to decorate your school locker. We will have supplies, but bring any small personal pictures you might want to include in your locker magnet. Also, join us for a Teen Advisory Board meeting before the event at 6:00. Give us your input. Decide which books, movies & magazines the library should own, and help create programs for teens. The decision-making is all yours!

Tell Me Who - Featured Title

Tell Me Who by Jessica Wollman - Molly's father is getting married to a terrible woman (nicknamed "the Claw"), and Molly feels helpless in trying to change it. "The Claw" is on a tear to change everything, and even takes over the basement at their house to store her collection of antiques. Molly isn't allowed down in the basement, but one afternoon she and her best friend, Vanna, venture down there to see what all the junk is. Life takes an exciting turn when Molly and her friend discover the Who-Meter, an old game that will predict the name of the person you are going to marry.

Before she knows it, everyone in Molly's class is lined up outside of her house to use the Who-Meter. But is knowing the future a good idea? Molly's left to decide whether this instant form of popularity is worth the potential problems that come with knowing one's future. Recommended for grades 4 and up.
